再次扩大范围！中国对沙特、阿曼、科威特、巴林4国试行免签

据《北京日报》发布消息，外交部发言人毛宁周三主持例行记者会。有记者提问称，中方在东盟-中国-海合会峰会期间宣布对沙特等4国试行免签政策，发言人能否进一步介绍有关情况？对此毛宁表示，为了进一步便利中外人员往来，中方决定扩大免签国家范围，自2025年6月9日至2026年6月8日，对沙特、阿曼、科威特、巴林持普通护照人员试行免签政策。
毛宁表示，上述四国持普通护照人员来华经商、旅游观光、探亲访友、交流、访问、过境不超过30天可以免办签证入境。加上2018年全面互免签证的海合会成员国阿联酋和卡塔尔，中方已经实现对海合会国家免签全覆盖。
毛宁在当天的记者会上还说，“我们欢迎更多海合会国家的朋友来一次说走就走的中国行。”

值得注意的是，这是中方免签政策的再次扩围。
在中拉论坛第四届部长级会议上，为进一步便利中外人员往来，中方决定扩大免签国家范围，自2025年6月1日起至2026年5月31日，对巴西、阿根廷、智利、秘鲁、乌拉圭持普通护照人员试行免签政策。上述五国持普通护照人员来华经商、旅游观光、探亲访友、交流访问、过境不超过30天，可免办签证入境。
外交部发言人林剑在5月15日的例行记者会上指出，中方将坚持高水平对外开放，出台更多措施，不断提升中外人员往来便利化的水平。欢迎更多外国朋友们用好来华免签和签证便利化政策，多到中国走一走，看一看，体验多彩绚烂、热情活力的中国。
中国免签“朋友圈”的持续扩大不仅推动了文化层面的交流，也产生了经济层面的效益。
国家统计局2月28日发布的2024年国民经济和社会发展统计公报显示，2024年，通过免签入境外国人2012万人次，同比大幅增长112.3%。
